As with every Silent Weekend, you’re on your own to join

in the activities or just do whatever, (except talk!)

Silent Friday, February 19, 2010

Plan to arrive at Camp Oty'Okwa AFTER 4:17.  Leave your voice at the camp entrance.  Drop off your gear in warm, wooden Sebring Lodge then park in the designated spots.  Come to the Dining Lodge to register and drop off your games and snacks.  Start to relax as you enjoy the warmth of silent socializing and fun friendships! All while NOT TALKING!

9:16 p.m. General meeting in the dining lodge for schedule updates and important weekend activity information and announcements. 

Munchie Feast, games and mingling follow the meeting!  Be sure to bring your favorite snack to share.  We'll have a snack provided and a "get acquainted" activity.

ALL MEALS PROVIDED TODAY....  Yum!

8:16 a.m. - Mealtimes will be posted later, but be sure not to miss the hot food prepared for us by the Camp staff.... YUM!   Afterwards join us for hikes to your favorite places, or stay and mingle with gold (old) and silver (new) friends!  

12:03 and 5:34 p.m. More hot yummy food is planned for lunch and dinner!  There are plenty of social opportunities between meals and after.  Be susre to join us for.....

7:34 p.m. It's a Barn Party!   You don't want to miss these annual laughs and smiles! This is a highlight of the weekend - you'll make friends fast at these activities!  Special cheers for the winners and FUN for ALL!!!!

8:17 We'll let you sleep in another minute before sharing another hot meal, provided by the talented and hardworking camp staff!

After breakfast,  wrap up your adventure with the traditional "Voices Back" ceremony.  Join us as we reflect on the weekend, followed by group pictures and SWPH. (Don't miss this!)   Send photos to Gayle or webmaster later.

in the beautiful Mohican Park area near Loudonville, Ohio

enjoying the social joys of camping without voice!
