Directions: DIRECTIONS: Most scenic route from CSCC.... Take I-71 north to exit 131 (Rt. 36/37), go EAST (turn right) to Rt. 3 north (turn left). Stay on Rt. 3 through Mount Vernon, continue north to the camp. Rainbow Springs is approximately 67 miles (1 1/2 hours) from CSCC. STOP at the CAMP OFFICE to sign in!! SEE YOU THERE! Please follow Camp rules, observe the speed limits, and do not spin wheels in wet grass. .Please bring an open mind. You will encounter peoples differences in signing styles, religion, values, and many other different things. Silent Weekend is a time and a place where people are free to be themselves. WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING: Your tent, sleeping bag, other camp gear, food, something yummy to share at the Friday night Munchie feast and at the Saturday night potluck, extra money for your SW106 shirt and outside activities, etc. Towels, toiletries, etc. are also needed. Include your Silent Weekend sense of adventure and commitment, to... NO TALKING!!!!!!
WHAT NOT TO BRING !! Please leave at home all your daily cares and worries, stress, radios, ipods, voices, kids, pets, inhibitions, alcohol, and anxieties.
