YOU'RE INVITED

....to join us for another wonderful weekend in the beautiful Hocking Hills.  Camp Oty'Okwa, a Big-Brothers-Big-Sisters affiliated camp, offers something for everyone. The rock formations, caves, and miles of hiking trails in Conkles Hollow provide the perfect setting for the winter Silent Weekend.  We'll bunk in the warm dorms of Sebring Lodge, have meetings and share hot meals in the Dining Hall, and have traditional Saturday evening activities in the Activities Center.  Home-cooked meals are prepared by the camp chef and staff beginning Saturday morning, and ending with Sunday morning just before the "Voices Back" meeting.  It's a great opportunity to come relax, enjoy, and learn - all without voice!  Come re-connect with friends and meet new ones at this silent ADVENTURE!

As usual the goals of Silent Weekend remain: To enjoy the beauty of communicating without talking; and to enjoy the warmth of friendships both new and continuing.

Prior knowledge of Sign Language is not required.  Remember, the NO TALKING rule applies wherever you go during the weekend  and is your commitment to the weekend!
